Blue Ridge Motion Pictures opened its doors on September 23rd, 2001. Leanne M. Campbell of Exeter, New Hampshire is the Studio Head. Leanne has 25 years of experience in Commercial and Residential Real Estate. She opened her first business at age 20 and purchased her first property at 21. She has also completed the Boston Marathon. Leanne states that, " all the things I've done until now, have prepared me for this career as the Studio Head of Blue Ridge Motion Pictures".
Merwin O. Gross of Marion, North Carolina brings his vast experience in producing, directing, and cinematography to the studio in his capacity as Executive Producer of Blue Ridge Motion Pictures.
Thomas Barkstedt of Atlanta, Georgia is the Creative Director of Blue Ridge Motion Pictures. Thomas has worked as a producer, director and cinematographer for over thirty years.
This exeptional trio comprises the core partnership or Blue Ridge Motion Pictures. Their more than 85 years combined experience in business and filmaking shapes the philosophy and direction of the studio.

As Studio Head at Blue Ridge Motion Pictures, Leanne M. Campbell of Exeter New Hampshire, is in the unique position of being one of only a few female studio heads in the United States. A distinction she considers both an honor and a challenge.
In her capacity as Studio Head, Leanne acts as Chief Operating Officer in charge of supervising all projects pertaining to finance, pre-production, physical production, and post production for Blue Ridge Motion Pictures. She also oversees all public relations and marketing.
Leanne considers all the things she has accomplished in her life up to this point, including running the Boston Marathon, as preparation for her extraordinarily challenging and rewarding career as a motion picture executive.

Mr. Gross is an experienced producer, director, writer and director of photography. He has authored over 50 screenplays and two books.
He has a deep history in the entertainment industry as a performer and producer. He is highly skilled in sound production and recording. Merwin has managed his own production company, Golden Sounds Productions for seven years. He has produced live shows, managed performers and contracted sound and light for various stage, film and video productions.
His list of credits includes motion pictures, television commercials and sound recordings.
A noted specialist in independent filmmaking, Merwin has also worked on numerous large films including, The Last of the Mohicans, which was filmed in his home state of North Carolina.

Tom has been a director of photography in film, and director and producer in theater for 30 years. He has spent the last 25 years providing the film industry with state-of-the-art set design and models for commercials and major motion pictures. His artistic vision has served many feature films, including Evil Dead II and The Mosquito Coast. He has also worked in the commercial industry with clients such as Coca-Cola and Mountain Dew.

Trish grew up in North Carolina and received a degree in Mass Communication at UNC-Asheville. She spent a few years after college making TV commercials in Florida but missed the mountains and moved back to Asheville. She has been here for the last 10 years working as a Marketing and Operations manager. She is excited to return to the industry and looks forward to growing with Blue Ridge Motion Pictures.

Alex grew up in the mountains of North Carolina and is currently attending school at AB Tech for a degree in nursing. She eventually would like to become a Nurse Practitioner and specialize in pediatric care. She has been with Blue Ridge Motion Pictures for several months and looks forward to being a part of the growing company while attending nursing school.
